The 2009 USRowing National Championships, which will consist of the elite events, will be held June 25-27 (pending park approval) at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J., while the 2009 USRowing Club National Championships, which will consist of the junior, intermediate and senior events, will be held July 15-19 at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
The 2009 USRowing National Championships will be held at the Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center, the primary training facility of USRowing’s national training center athletes. The event schedule will reflect the current world championship structure. The regatta will feature races in the 22 world championship boat classes, as well as the four adaptive world championship boat classes.
Co-hosted by the Oak Ridge Rowing Association, the 2009 USRowing Club National Championships will feature junior, intermediate and senior-level events. More than 1,800 athletes competed in these categories at last year’s national championships in Camden.
